Not Too Late?

Tonight we went to the Moscow Ballet's Nurcracker.  Is it too late to train to be a ballerina?  Man.  I want to change careers.

Grace, always pragmatic, says however that it is not all it is cracked up to be.  You dance until 9 or 10 at night, and then you have to stay late to take pictures with little kids (with inflection indicating that they are vermin), and then you have to drive home, or to the next city.  Still, I don't care.

It is kind of like that time Kara asked Andra (at age 4 or 5) what she wanted to be when she grew up and Andra answered "a princess".  Kara went into an extensive explanation of how hard it would be, since if you were not born to a king you would have to marry a prince and really, they usually only marry other princesses. Kara then asked again, "So, what do you want to be now?" and in the smallest of small voices she answered "a princess".

Fo me? A ballerina.
