We Are Thankful
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had delightful company. We had more than enough food to eat.
We sat at my Dad's table, that was also his Dad's table. Both he and I came by it through unfortunate circumstances, and I feel fortunate to have it.
The table was made for my grandparents, I've heard tell, and it has five leaves. Which makes lots of room for things we are thankful for at the table.

When I was a little girl, one of my jobs was to dust those big curvy table legs. You might check the underside of the table and see if my gum is still there.
