What Comes Home
I love reading what comes home in backpacks. Here was today's gem from Grace.
Snail Paragraph Final Draft
I think snails are interesting and enjoyable. One reason I enjoy snails is because of the trails of mucus they leave behind them. I also think its satisfying that snails heads are on their feet. But most of all, I think its very interesting that snails are like slugs with a shell. That is why I think snails are interesting. I hope I can deal with the snails again.
See? The sentence that includes "the trails of mucus they leave behind" rivals the line Andra once wrote in kindergarten "I like to hold squirrel tails". Here's hoping the teacher thought that was a metaphor for something.
