School is over in 2 days.  Tomorrow is Andra's last day, since she has 5th grade graduation on Wednesday at 9 AM.

We have been busy with the recorder concerts and band concerts and art shows and tonight, the talent show.

The talent show is put on by our after school program and they do a fantastic job.  They practice for months, and they decorate the MPR (modern word for gym).  The families bring food.

This year, it was the best ever, and it brings back memories of the dances the girls have done over the years - and they have had some great ones.  I was most remembering the first year, where the kids were relative babies, and I was always amazed by how grown the huge 5th graders were.  And this year - it was MY huge 5th grader.  She was funny, and looked like she was having a great time.

Both Andra and Grace were in full personality mode which made it entertaining AND fun. 

Unfortunately, there was one talent that outdid everyone.  The well dressed kid who burped the alphabet. 

We can't have it all, I guess.
