Today we had a tea party at the house.  The neighbor and I invited all our kids teachers over for a big Thank You, and most of the teachers from K - 5 for all 4 of our kids came and we got to chit chat and gossip and tell stories.

We had tea, and champagne and lemonade. We had little finger sandwiches and hot appetizers.  We had cupcakes and strawberries and cream puffs.

 

We had fun.

I have been wanting to host something - I needed a good excuse to use the good dishes, and I saw these beautiful gelatins that my friend Anna makes and needed some reason to have them around.  You heard me right, these are JELLO, with hand created JELLO flowers inside.  Aren't they beautiful?



We prepped well, so once people showed up, all we had to do was be part of the party.  I totally worked.  While we worked pretty hard getting the house ready, and baking and preparing, I was so glad to do it, and I am so happy I did.

Everyone thanked me, but the joke is on them.  I threw a tea party and people came.  I am the happiest woman around.
