Effective today, I am convinced that money can, indeed, buy happiness. 

We overspent on a taller, better Christmas tree.  I bought live pine and cedar swags and boughs to put all over the house.  I was kind of figuring if I spent more on forced holiday cheer that we would all feel more cheerful.

It is totally working.  I HIGHLY recommend it.
