Ah, bedtime at last.
Today is one of those days where bedtime is so sweet. I'm glad for the day, but especially glad for the day's end.
It started with a morning where no one would wake up, no one wanted to get dressed, and no one spontaneously figured out they should wear shoes AND socks to school. When certain people under 4 feet tall, who shall remain nameless, wandered out to the kitchen bleary eyed and not entirely dressed, they didn't want any food I had for breakfast, and certainly didn't want the food the cafeteria planned to serve for lunch. Grace managed to shove enough food to constitute lunch into a lunch box, while Andra got a sucker, a fruit roll up and a granola bar into a brown paper sack before she was forced to the car to go to school. The brown paper sack found its way into the car, but her shoes and socks didn't. By the time we got to school, the shoes and socks still weren't on. The brown sack got left in the car, and Andra called me before I got to work to beg me to bring her "lunch" (I didn't bring it since it wasn't really lunch).
It was a rough start. It was busy day for me, and I had to leave a meeting to pick the girls up from bowling, and bowling makes them tired - which makes them uber-cranky. We made and ate Jambalaya for dinner, and watched Project Runway, and I just worked for a couple hours.
My stove is not working well, the dishwasher isn't working at all, something is wrong with my coffee maker, Phil's hand is broken (according to x-rays) and T.K. (the kitten) is limping.
I am so glad it is bedtime.

Oh what a lovely day. At least I wasn't there much to add to your joy.
