Phil, tell us about your weekend...
Ok, I knew the day was coming, but I was still surprised when one of Phil's friends sent me an email to ask for more of Phil. His point was that while I have been clear that it is MOSTLY Jenine, that really, the concept of "most" still probably calls for more than 3% of the postings to include some reference to my dear darling. He was also looking for some hunt updates. So here is what Phil did this weekend.
Friday night Phil spent the evening with us, and Phil and I watched my favorite movie - Roman Holiday.
Saturday Phil got up and shot a limit of doves before the girls and I ate breakfast. He came home and rested before going to the U of A football game.
Sunday, Phil's girls swam with cousins. He was the first person Grace called to tell that with some help from Aunt Julie and a napkin, she "lost" her first tooth (o.k. Julie offered to give her a cookie if she let Julie pull her tooth and duh! Of course she said yes). Then, he prepared for his date with destiny. And with the not-so-eligible candidates for Mrs. America. He admits that the most compelling thing was to have 51 smokin' hotties play to him (ok, they were playing to the judges, but Phil was sitting with the judges). I later inquired about the evening gowns and swimsuits, just out of curiosity. He said the gowns were fabulous, the swim wear impressive, and the gregarious nature of the women warming. (my interpretation of his comments - sorry Jonathan, I can't stay completely out of it). He got home late.
Then he got up early and shot another limit of doves this morning. We had a few people over for a barbecue, and Phil is exhausted.
Hunt Forecast: Unit 9 Elk Tag starts September 22 - Northern Arizona.
Alaskan Mountain Goat Tag starts October 5th ish
- Alaskan Wilderness

Don't you think one day of killing the bird of peace is probably the limit already? And trying to get the world's most hung javelina? Seriously, do the contests never end?

Ah, I fixed the Hung Javelina, but not before Jennie busted me. Somehow when I proof in the pre post mode I still miss things. Although I am sure he wouldn't be above the best hung javelina. (for those of you confused, my initial post said "World's Best Javalina HunG" instead of HunT. At least I sent you a private note that you had misspelled CrayLOA, Jennie. Thanks alot for discrediting me in front of my friends.

Even though I thought this might be a typo, I still think that sounds like an interesting contest. One of those things where the photo of the winner would fly through internet circles in no time. Probably RECORD time, for those of you who are competitive.

Well, I see that you took my comments to the extreme. I suppose that you were just trying to be overly accomadating to my request
As for your typo... I think that we may have to implement the contest into our traditional New Years Javelina hunt. It could just make things all the more interesting.
I hope all is well.
