Can Cowgirls Cross Their Legs?

Happy 4th of July, All. Not only is it our country's independence day, but today is a celebration of a great family trip for our clan.

I would say it was a world class, western, epic family getaway.  Andra says it was the best vacation ever, and if Grace could stop crying over her horse Mexico she would probably say so too.

My Dad took his girls, Julia, Michele and I, plus the people we live with, for 4 days to the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch.  It was truly delightful.  We were busy from 7 am until 9:30 pm every day with riding, eating, riding, swimming, eating, riding, swimming, eating and entertainment, generally in that order.  The food was excellent, the company outstanding, the activities challenging and enjoyable.  We rode, we swam, we fished, we nature walked, we ate and we just had a remarkable time.  I really could add scores of adjectives, but I could never truly express it.  So here are some shots of our trip.  And as for the title of the blog, well, I should really have forgone that last intermediate riding lesson with Levi, because I have bruises in places that seriously affect my general happiness.  And I can't cross my legs without using my arms to manipulate my legs.  How do cowgirls do it?

Rachel will be disappointed that there was not a shot of just Levi, but I'll show her the "offspring" when she gets back from Hawaii. Just popped in cause I was thinking of you.
