Abraham Lincoln speaks
This quote, or portions of it, are sprinkled all over the veteran's hospital where Dad was 2 weeks ago, and I have decided that I like it, and it is just right for today. It is a funny thing, if you go read most of the writings from the early days of our country they are right on for today. Check out a little Patrick Henry, or Abraham Lincoln, or if that is too hard, try John, Paul, George and Ben by Lane Smith (its a kids book, you can do it). Get all patriotic today, and hug someone who has borne the battle, if you can (maybe warn them first though).
