Well Hello.  For all of you who have been checking in and wondering what happened to me, thanks for checking in.  It has been a really long week (or so).

In a way, I did fall from the face of the earth this week, or maybe fell to the face of the earth.  I got bad family news, and hit bottom.  But after I hit bottom, I found out things worse than the bad news.  Sometimes when you hit bottom, turns out, there are bottoms under that one, and some even more bottoms under that one. Kind of like falling through scaffolding that just keeps giving way, level by level, all the way to China.

Boom, Boom, Boom.
