Time to do laundry
I probably have 50 pairs of underwear, but I always wear the same pairs (I wash them in between - don't worry). So this morning I couldn't find a pair I wanted to wear and I am digging through my drawer - too big, too small, pretty to look at, not fit for street wear, until I finally settled. A day in the wrong underwear just sucks.
So I sauntered down the hall to check on the girls, and Grace is wearing a white ballet leotard and a peasant skirt. When I expressed my concern over the leotard, and politely asked her to change, she was, shall we say, resistant. So I got resistant back and firmly explained that she couldn't go to the bathroom all day if she wore a leotard to school, at which point she explained that she doesn't go to the bathroom at school anymore. I said no, so she said then she wasn't wearing anything at all. I told her then she might want a sweater since she would be cold in just her underwear and on and on and on. We went through several other iterations of the same argument until she ended up in the only pair of clean jeans she had, a white undershirt, and a size 4 sleeveless blue terrycloth swim cover up that zips up the front. Hey, it was better than the leotard. I just don't know how she got so particular about what she wears.
You think "She's crazy", I think "Time to do laundry".
Can't get enough of Macy Grey, $5 to anyone who can tell me what the heck "frendin'" is. (Check out the lyrics - "I play it cool but I'm frendin").

I can totally relate, I left Jeremy at home one morning because he was determined to wear pajamas to school one day when it wasn't pajama day. Getting dressed in the morning is NOT fun. FYI~ There is a Children's Place Outlet opening in the Foothills Mall.

But do they sell white leotards?

I love the blog. I'm so glad to see that you are relishing in all your spare time now that "the Man" is not taking it up! I have the same underwear issue....why don't we just get rid of the 50 pair that we don't wear?
Also - it's not frendin - it's fiendin. As in wanting something really bad. It's usually used in reference of drugs - as in I was fiendin for a fix - but gets lots of play in hip hop songs now for anything you want badly. I'll check the mail for my $5.

I will pop that right in the mail. Of COURSE you would know, I should have started with you in the first place.

Jenine - how very Pollyanna of you to mistake wanting drugs for being a good friend...
